What is the Nival spirit?


Here at Nival, everything revolves around climbing. Our daily life revolves around climbing and offering you products that suit you.

We are dedicated to the development of climbing by organizing solidarity events.

We introduce the discipline mainly in Vietnam because it all started there.

Our inspirations

The big names showed us the way forward.

They brought climbing to the forefront and made this incredible discipline known to as many people as possible.

Created in 2022, we are the new generation of responsible brands.

Our vision for the future is set towards sustainability and change.

The origins of Nival

It all started with a t-shirt designed for the filming of a documentary about climbing in Vietnam, Climbing In Huu Lung , in 2020.

Nival was originally created by a French climber (one of the future co-founders of Côté Bloc) to bring together communities and promote climbing in Vietnam.

Nival worked by making films, creating the community group Vietnam Climbing Circle , organizing events and getting published in several local media.

It was a first project to create chalk bags from scraps of jackets that encouraged its founder to make Nival a responsible climbing brand.

Today, Nival is developing in France, maturing its ideas and philosophy to share the best possible experience with you.

The Nival x Côté Bloc ecosystem


Nival designs technical pants for climbing with technicality and comfort.

We are committed to promoting sustainable climbing, using high-performance materials and supporting our Nival Charity program.

On the other hand, Côté Bloc , the YouTube channel with which we operate, promotes the practice and brings together a passionate community of climbers since 2021.

Our goal is to share our passion for climbing through authentic, inspiring and educational content.

In July 2024, we brought our major Nival Charity project to fruition.

We funded and built an entire climbing room within the NGO Maison Chance in Vietnam without financial compensation.

Climbing has given us a lot, we have found a way to redistribute what has been given to us.

The room benefits daily more than 200 children attending school at the heart of the NGO, but also all volunteers and employees.

Moving to Haute-Savoie


After years of growing and learning, Nival leaves Metz and settles in Haute-Savoie in 2025.

Why this choice?

Because mountains shape dreams and textile innovation meets the demands of the terrain.

We wanted to be at the heart of the universe of verticality that inspires us so much.

To continue creating clothing that accompanies you on all your adventures, we must evolve.

This move is an important milestone.

It is also a gamble, that of growing Nival without ever losing our DNA: a brand built with and for our community.
